Your Next Stamp Summer Feature (Journal Notebook)

This month on the Your Next Stamp blog, the Design team are featuring projects that are all things SUMMER and all things FUN!

With a theme like summer fun, there really is so much you can do.

For my Summer Fun project, I created a journal for my oldest daughter to use for her upcoming summer holidays. My Letter Board Die really got a workout, as I made titles for the journal cover and insert pages inside the book. On the cover, I also used Happy Dance, the Overdue Library Card stamp and delicious Gumdrops.

Inside the first pages of the journal, I created pockets to hold a few tags and journal pages.

My daughter will have the chance to create her own summer bucket list of activities. I used Zero Calories to decorate this insert page. The tag, which will make an ideal bookmark for this avid reader, was created using the Cool Tag Three and Zero Calories. The other insert page is a chore list, because the summer can all be about fun and games.

The next part of the journal includes an additional pocket and a notepad.

This insert page which is decorate with the Spectacular Teacher stamp and die, will allow my daughter to record her summer reads.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps June Release Blog Hop (Fancy Flamingos)

I am so excited! It is time for us to celebrate the June release for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. On today's blog hop you will see a lot of really amazing projects. Sit back and enjoy this amazing release.

To recap this amazing release, we started the previews off with those darling Lexi, Lucas and Lulu in the set called You're Sun-sational!

 

Next we had a lovely set of beach beauties called Sandy Toes!

Then we had two days of stamps that will have you longing for a tropical vacation. I am sure you will agree that Floatin' Fiona, Dolly Diver and the background set At the Beach are 'sun'sational!

Finally we finished out the week with two days of sets from Becky including Fancy Flamingos and a beautiful gem and sentiment set called Let Your Light Shine!

Here is a simple card using Fancy Flamingos!

The background was made using a variety of blue distress inks.

Your Next Stamp June DT Dare

It's time for the May Your Next Stamp Design Team Dare challenge! Each month the design team is given a special challenge to help show off the new stamps and dies released each month.

For the month of June our challenge theme is celebrating Upsy Daisy Day meaning we are making a card that's uplifting and will cheer someone up!

This month, I have enjoyed making shaker cards for our new release. Who doesn't love a fun shaker card to make you smile. All that pretty coloured confetti flying around inside the sweet heart cut out. For my card, I used the Fairytale Homes, along with the Stitched Rectangle and Stripe-tastic Heart die. The sentiment is from Waddles Gardening fun!

The confetti inside the shaker came from the Cool Tag Three die set.

Your Next Stamp June Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the June release blog hop from Your Next Stamp.

I hope you are enjoying the release so far. This months release is filled with cute stamps, fun dies and a new set of matte gumdrops! How exciting.

This release I had a lot of fun with making shaker cards. The fun Cool Tags Three is amazing and works so well for a shaker design. Using the Waddles Gardening Fun, I created a simple and fun shaker card.
