I am so excited about these amazing mermaid images. I really had a lot of fun playing around with the colours for this fin-tastic mermaid. I used fabulous summer paper from Echo Park (Summer Bliss) and of course layered my ocean theme card with cheese cloth, natural twine and pearls.

Inside of the card I decorate everything using the accessory stamps and one of the sets fun sentiments.

Little Red Wagon # 293 Old McDonald had a Farm!

Hello crafty friends. I hope you are having a wonderful and creative week. Today I am back with a card for this week's Little Red Wagon challenge. Joanne is our hostess and her challenge is taking us to OLD MC DONALD'S FARM. I am sure you all know how that song goes, so let see your favourite farm animals this week.

For my card this week I had one of my fellow DT Girlfriends in mind. She is a little fascinated (some may say obsessed) with cows. So, this was the perfect time to ink up the sweet cows in the Your Next Stamp Funny Farm Crew set. There is also a great sentiment set to coordinate with the farm animals.

I used masking paper for stamping the cows three times on my paper. The Simple Stories Homespun paper really has a great country feel.

Inside the card I added another of the darling animals from the set and a two more of the sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by today. I really hope that you have time to play along with our fun FARM challenge. Link up your projects over at the Little Red Wagon blog. If you are looking for some inspiration, please check our my fab GIRLFRIENDS creations this week.

Hey crafty friends, Little Red Wagon is having a DT Call. You can check out the post here for more details. You have until June 15th to apply.

Have a fabulous and crafty day friends!

Your Next Stamp June DT Dare

This month at YOUR NEXT STAMP, our Design Team (DT) Dare challenge was to create a project that was bright and sunny. We were challenged to include yellow or a sun on our project. Challenge accepted!

Now I don't golf (unless it's the mini version), but I just love the Golf Green die set. I know a lot of people that love golfing, so this die will be well used. I had a lot of fun creating a scene all with scraps of paper. The dies I used included:

Head over to the Your Next Stamp blog and check out the DT DARE post for this month. Comment on the post for a chance to WIN a prize. You will also see more amazing creations from my fellow YNS DT girls.

Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Your Next Stamp June Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Your Next Stamp June new release blog hop.

Today we have an amazing blog hop showcase so many fabulous stamps and die. Sit back, grab your favourite beverage and enjoy this month's inspiration.

Are you ready for summer? I know I am. Looking forward to vacation, not making lunches and lots of BBQ time. That's right BBQ = no cooking for me! My first card I used the BBQ SCENE stamp along with STITCHED SQUARE die set. I also added a few new GUMDROPS from a mixed colour set called Mermaid Fun!

The paper for my card is Echo Park Jack & Jill. You can't tell from the picture, however I paper pieced this image in multiple layers to get a subtle depth to my scene.

Stamps and dies used:

Do you like to garden? I have what I like to call a "black thumb", so I try to avoid any gardening. I will happily stick to colouring (not planting) flowers. I used the sweet PLANT SOME KINDNESS stamp and die set for my card. To create my window and flower box, I used the FUN WITH SQUARES and STITCHED RECTANGLE die.

Here is a look at the inside of the card. I just love the cute sentiments with this set.

In celebration of this month's release, Karen has a fabulous deal for you!

Your Next Stamp June Sneak Peek

Today I am excited to share a peek of one of the new stamps from the YOUR NEXT STAMP June release. The Design Team is offering some fabulous PEEKS today, so sit back and enjoy! For the full list of preview projects this months, head over to the Your Next Stamps blog.

Today, I created an a card featuring a stamp that may just be a reflection of me in the morning before my coffee. I used the fun NEED COFFEE OWL, along with the STITCHED SQUARES die. I added to this the coffee cup from THANKS A LATTE and finished everything off with a few yummy Gumdrops.

The paper is called True Stories from Shimelle for American Crafts.

The inside of the card was kept simple and without a sentiment. This card may become a birthday card for a coffee lovin' friend or a Thanks a Latte card to someone special.

Enjoy our little preview of the YOUR NEXT STAMP June release. Remember to check out all of the previews available from the DT. The complete list is on the YNS blog. Stamps and dies from the new release will be available tomorrow, Sunday June 7th.

Stop back tomorrow, to join our June Release Blog Hop. There will be a lot of amazing projects to see and a prize to be won. You don't want to miss this release. On June 10th we also have our next DT dare and another chance to win a prize.

Happy PEEKING  everyone!

Your Next Stamp Challenge #15 / Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Welcome to our sketch and colour challenge #14 at Your Next Stamp. Each challenge includes a sketch and colour options to inspire you.

Create a project based on the sketch and/or the colour combination. If you are working with the colours use at least 3 of the colours and you can add only neutrals.

I am also very excited to be joining in for my first Coffee Lovers Blog hop. The fun starts over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. Coffee and card making......I am a happy girl.

This week I used the sketch along with the THANKS A LATTE stamp. Instead of using an oval I pulled out my favourite Stitching Marks Circle dies for the frame around my stamp. To keep the card fun and summery, I used a fun collection of paper from Lawn Fawn called Beachside and added a few Gumdrops (my new fave. colour Glittered Blue Sapphire).

For our sketch and colour challenge # 14 you have until June 11th (midnight) to play along. You can see more inspiration and link up your projects over at Your Next Stamp.

One random participant will WIN a $15 gift card to the YNS store. If you feature a YNS stamp or die (must be the main focal point) you will receive and additional $5. When you use a YNS image there is also a chance of being selected as a YNS Top Pick. That's right, bragging rights for you and a fabulous badge to show off on your blog! Sounds exciting right? Ink up your stamps and show us your crafty stuff!

Have a fabulous and crafty Friday friends!

Little Red Wagon #292 Use it Up

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's Little Red Wagon challenge. Heather is the hostess for this week and she is asking us to "USE IT UP"! To be specific she would like you to grab something from your stash that you haven't used before and get crafty with it!

I have a large collection of 6x6 paper and I was shocked to see a few paper packs that have never been opened. My 'USE IT UP' for today is making a dent in one of my unused packs of paper.

For this simple note holder I used an older Your Next Stamp image Ellie Loves School along with paper from American Crafts Serendipity collection.

I am not sure why this paper has sat so long. I really think it's the washed out look of the colours. I have a few similar paper pads that I tend to pass over in favour of the more bold or vibrant paper collections.

This note holder was a gift for my daughter's teacher.

Thanks for stopping by today. I really hope that you have time to play along with our USE IT UP challenge.
