Your Next Stamp Sketch / Colour Challenge # 65 (Golf Dog Zach)

Hello and welcome to another week of the Your Next Stamp sketch/colour challenge #65. 

Every two weeks, there is a new challenge that features a sketch and colour inspiration. Pick the one that inspires you most, or try both for an added challenge. The best part of these challenges is you could win a gift certificate to the YNS store!

 When using the colour inspiration, you must use at least 3 colours. You may also add neutrals 

This week I used both the sketch and colours for my inspiration with this masculine card. I used Golf Dog Zach. I really love working with sketches and this one was fun to alter just a bit to fit the image I was using. This will make a great birthday or father's day card!

For the sketch/colour challenge #65, you will have until Thursday June 8th (midnight EST) to play along. Head over to the Your Next Stamp blog for more inspiration and to link up your creation.

One random participant will win a $15 gift card to the YNS store. If you feature YNS products (it must be the main focus of your project), you will receive an additional $5. When you use a YNS stamp/die, there is a chance of being selected as the YNS top pick. The winner and top pick are announced on the YNS blog, the Sunday after the close of the challenge.

Little Red Wagon # 283 Call the Vet

Welcome to this week's LITTLE RED WAGON challenge. Susie is kicking off a brand new month and her challenge is CALL THE VET! This means she is looking to see an animal on your project.

For my card, I used a cute set from Your Next Stamp called MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO.

I used paper from Carta Bella Rough and Tumble and went to crazy with some distressing. Around the image I used a cute die cut frame from Your Next Stamp call the Journal Card Scallop Insert die. I haven't used it yet for scrapbooking, however it make for a cute scalloped matting for my image.

Of course I coordinated the inside of my card with some of the coordinating paper and scraps from the front of the card. These monkeys are perfect inside and out!

Kraftin' Kimmie May Preview.......Day One

I am super excited to be sharing with you day one of the May Kraftin' Kimmie Previews. Today we are showing off a super cute set featuring Lulu, Lexi and Lucas! This set is by the amazingly talented Cheryl Alger and we're sure it will "float your boat"! Today the design team and guests (me!) are showing off samples featuring......AHOY, SAILOR!

For my card I worked with with one of my favourites and that's.....LULU! Isn't she the cutest? To create my nautical look for this card I used the Carta Bella Rough and Tumble collection and added pennants, a porthole and some natural twine.

I really enjoyed creating a scene around this fun image, which is coloured using Copic markers.

The porthole and banners were cut on my Cricut. The top layer of the banner was covered with glue and sprinkled with Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter (clear) then topped off with a glitter star (Queen & Co).
