Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Birthday (No Blue or Pink)

Hello Krafty Friends. Did you have a great week? Me....I had a rather hectic week so I am very happy to say that it's now Saturday!

Now that the weekend is here, it's time for the latest challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Krafty Girl KELLI is our fab hostess and her challenge is BIRTHDAYS, with a bit of a twist. The twist is that you can't use pink or blue. This is not as easy as it sounds. I failed this challenge as there are two tiny dots of blue that I was not able to hide on my card. Maybe they can pass for grey!

Grab your stamps (all are welcome) and create a NEW card, layout or altered item to match this week's theme. You can share it with us on Krafty Friends Facebook in our group (here) or link up your blog post over at the Kraftin' Kimmie blog. You have all week to play along and there is a chance to WIN $10 gift card to the KKS shop. If you do use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp on your project, you will double your chance to win.

For my birthday card this week, I inked up Lucas as the Mad Hatter from the cute ONCE UPON A TIME 2 set. The paper is Simple Stories Say Cheese.

Inside the card, I included the image of Alice from this set and added a birthday sentiment from the MAKE A WISH set.

Grab you paper and stamps and play along with this week's BIRTHDAY (NO PINK OR BLUE) challenge. Head over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog to see more about this week's challenge have look at some inspiration from my talented teammates.

Have you checked out the FRUGAL FRIDAY sales going on right now. There are dozens of stamps currently on sale, so you will want to check it out. The sale is only for the weekend.

Do you enjoy kits? Right now, you can preorder for the current Kraftin' Kimmie Coffee Card kit. There is an exclusive stamp, along with fun paper and coordinating embellishments. This is the second round of pre-orders, so don't wait too long. You can see samples of cards made with the kit here.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a super Saturday!

Kraftin' Kimmie Guest Designer Contest - with Pippa Popcorn

Yeah, I am so excited to see there is another Krafty Guest Contest over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I just finished with Kraftin' Kimmie as a Guest Designer in May. It was a lot of fun and KKS has some of my favourite images to work with.

This is my entry for another chance to be a guest and work with Kimmie and her super talented design team. If you want to see more about this great opportunity check out the Kraftin' Kimmie post here.

For my card today I used the fun Pippa Popcorn.

I was happy to finally have the chance to use my Simple Stories Say Cheese paper. The 6x6 pad is so much fun and worked perfectly for this card. I also added a few buttons to coordinate with the colours in the paper and tickets from Maya Road and the filmstrip from Tim Holtz.

The image is coloured with Copic Markers. I stamped the image twice. Actually to be truthful my popcorn box didn't turn out on the first stamp and since I didn't want the image to go to waste I stamped Pippa again, coloured the popcorn box and fussy cut it out adding dimensional adhesive.

For the inside of my card, I again stamped the popcorn box and fussy cut it out, added more tickets, the sentiment from this set and more coordinating paper.

If you feel like getting your Krafty Groove on join this challenge for an amazing opportunity to be a Krafty Guest. You won't be disappointed.

Have a Krafty Day!

Tracy
