Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - NEW Krafty Skrappy Challenge

GUESS WHAT?

We have something new and amazing going on at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Yep that's right today we have a SURPRISE RELEASE that is super special and amazing! This release from Artist (and Krafty Girl) Becky Pearce is called SCRAPBOOK ESSENTIALS.

This amazing set of sentiments and images add a great touch to your traditional scrapbook pages, as well as pockets style scrapbooking, mixed media and altered projects.

We are celebrating this fun new release, with the introduction of a NEW monthly challenge hosted by fabby Krafty girl Tangii. It's called our KRAFTY SKRAPPY Challenge. So how does this new challenge work?
  • Create a scrapbook or project life layout or altered item! Sorry NO CARDS for this challenge!
  • You MUST use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp to be entered into the prize drawn
  • You have a whole month to play along and you can enter as many times as you'd like.
  • And, yes there is a chance for a prize!
To celebrate our first Skrappy challenge, there will be a random winner for every 10 entries we get!

I used the Scrapbook Essentials set on a traditional 12 x12 layout and a pocket page. I don't document the everyday like project left, but I do enjoying using the pockets pages to go along with my layouts.

This layout was one I had previously made (but never shared). I was able to finish the layout with a few of the Scrapbook Essentials set.

I turned one of the amazing pictures my husband took into a tag to fit into the vellum pocket. I prefer hidden journalling, so this is a great way to document my experience without having to put my writing on display.

We had so many great pictures from my first (and likely last) mountain climb, that I created this pocket page to go with my layout. I don't scrapbook in chronological order, so I was happy that I planned ahead and put my leftover paper and additional photos in with my layout.

Since I do have a lot to say about this adventure, I made additional 4x6 journalling cards.

Lulu from the HAPPY CAMPERS stamp set was perfect for my layout. Another great way to incorporate many of your favourite Kraftin' Kimmie stamps onto projects other than cards. This fun journalling card was featured yesterday on our Krafty Friends Blog hop.

I had just enough paper left over from this fun Paperloft On The Go collection for my pocket pages. It's a great way to finish up those scraps to finish off a kit or collection.

Here is a look at the rest of the pocket page.

My final 4x6 journalling card. The sentiments in this set really captured the moments from this day.

Although I am first and foremost a card maker, I am super excited to venture back to the world of scrapbooking. Check out more inspiration from our Krafty team for this month's SKRAPPY CHALLENGE over on the Kraftin' Kimmie stamps blog. Grab your KKS and show us your skrappy stuff!!!

Link up your project on the blog and also share with us in our Facebook group (here)!

Have a fabulous and SKRAPPY day!

  1. Tracy...I am in awe with this whole project. Your photos are stunning :) These are memories the definitely need to be developed into photos to Scrapbook :) the creativity on each one is terrific...you are very talented in putting paper, photos, embellishments and stamping together. I love that little pocket with the photo. I have always been afraid of cutting my photos but you have inspired me to do so and I see they are still captured beautifully all tying in together :) Great use of the new stamps too :) love this whole project :) Thanks for sharing

    1. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate your lovely comments. I have to give some credit to my fabulous hubby. He is the talent photographer in the house, so it easier to create my layouts. I love scrapbooking and working on this project reminded me of that. I think it is so amazing the story you can tell just with pictures.
