Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - A Purr-fect Day (Use 3 Pattern Papers)

Hello Krafty Friends and welcome to another fun Saturday challenge for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This week our challenge theme is to use 3 PATTERN PAPERS.

Grab your stamps (all are welcome) and create a NEW card, layout or other paper craft item that matches this week's theme. You can share it with us on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog or over in our Krafty Friends Facebook group. You have all week to play along with this week's themed challenge and there is a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the KKS shop. A winner will be chosen from all of the Saturday challenge participants from the month.

This week I used the A Purr-fect Day set to create a card with simple layers. I love layers and 3 pattern papers is my usual for my layered cards. My favourite is to select a simple (not too busy) layer for my background. Then add stripes, polka dots or smaller patterns.

Here is a look at the inside of the card. As this was a get well type card, I have left the inside blank. This will allow me to write a message or add an appropriate sentiment, depending on the recipient.

Now it's time for you to get krafty and join our challenge. You will have until February 5th (11:55 pm EST) to play along.

Have you seen this week's FRUGAL FRIDAY deals. There are dozens of stamps sets currently on sale for this weekend. Check it out and grab a few of your favourites before they are gone.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a Super Saturday!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: A Purr-fect Day (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps)
Dies: MFT circles and scalloped circles
Paper: Bella BLVD Rover and Riley

Your Next Stamp Sketch/Colour Challenge # 31 (Hot Cocoa Phoebe)

We are continuing with Challenge #31 at Your Next Stamp.

Each challenge there is a sketch and colour combo for you to choose from.  Pick the one that inspires you, unless you really want to challenge yourself and combine the two!  Plus, the best part is you might win a gift certificate to the YNS store by playing along.Today

If you choose the colour combo, be sure to use at least 3 colours and feel free to add in neutrals.

For my card, I worked both the colour and sketch as I inked up Hot Cocoa Phoebe. I stayed close to the original sketch, adding a little change in shape with my triangle instead of the circle.

Here is a closer look at Phoebe.

For our sketch/colour challenge #30, you will have until February 4, 2016 (midnight) to play along. Head over to the Your Next Stamp blog for more inspiration and to link up your own creation.

One random participant will WIN a $15 gift card to the YNS store. If you feature a YNS stamp or die (must be the main focal point) you will receive an additional $5. When you use a YNS image/die, there is also a chance of being selected as the YNS TOP PICK. The winner and "top pick" are announce on the Your Next Stamp blog the Sunday following the challenge close.

Have a fabulous and crafty Friday everyone!

Inside the card I used a birthday sentiment from the Make a Wish set.

Your Next Stamp January Feature (Perfect Chemistry)

Welcome to the January YOUR NEXT STAMPS feature post. Each month the design team uses specific themes or stamps to create new projects that will hopefully inspire you.

This month as we near that special day of February the 14th our theme for this month is....WITH LOVE!

For my 'with love', I selected one of my favourite stamps from last year, the 'mad' scientist from PERFECT CHEMISTRY. To kick up the love and affection on this card, I added the MINI HEART INK SPLATTER as a back ground behind our mad with love scientist.

I love the Taylored Expression Formula for Love paper. It works so well for this image.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Scrappy Challenge

Hello and welcome to our January Scrappy challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

These challenges are a lot of fun and give you the chance to use your stamps in different ways. Your creations can be ANYTHING you would like to create but NOT a card! That leaves a lot of room for creativity, including calendar, planner pages, bookmarks, pocket pages and traditional scrapbook pages. You MUST use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp for this challenge! You have all month to play along, so grab some stamps, pictures and let's get KRAFTY!

Our January theme is: ANYTHING GOES

I have had most of this calendar together since October, getting myself ready to get organized for the new year. Since I am going to keep this calendar as part of my scrapbook for the year, after the month is over, I like to go back and add a few reminders of some of the things that happened over the past month.

On my January calendar I used:

The paper is from Echo Park's Hello Winter collection.

Before the start of the month, I like to you the Perfect Planner set and mark out those days where I have confirmation of reminders, plans or information to remember.

Later in the month, if other things come up, it's fun to use some of the other great stamps you have in your collection to add a few reminders of fun and important memories. Baking with my kids and of course shopping for books (again)!

I hope you play along with this month's SCRAPPY Challenge! You can head over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog to see more creations from the Krafty Girls as well as the full details about the challenge.

Create any project (other than a card) featuring a Kraftin' Kimmie image. You have one month to play along and you can enter as many times as you like. Once the challenge reaches 5 entries, a random winner will be drawn.
