Welcome to the Your Next Stamp September release hop. Summer is over, kids are back to school (soon here) and it's time to dive into the fall and Halloween themes.
We have an amazing blog hop to showcase so many fabulous stamps, dies and another amazing paper pack! This month we have a number of talented guest joining us for our September release hop, so sit back, grab a beverage (pumpkin spiced latte perhaps) and maybe a pen and paper to joint down an item or two or three for your wish list.
For my first project, I created a simple card using the witch from the Spooktacular Halloween stamp and die set. I framed the image using the Stitch Square Frames and added a few Spellbound Gumdrops for added decoration.
YNS Products: Spooktacular Halloween Stamp and Die, Stitched Square Frames, Spellbound Gumdrops, Other: Doodlebug Ghouls and Goodies Paper
I am a planner girl. I recently switched over from a homemade printed planner, to using a Simple Stories Carpe Diem planner. I usually only stamp on my monthly view page, however this time I decided to stamp and decorate a rather busy week in September using the new Daily Planning and Kids Activity Planning stamps. It's a good way to keep organized and fun to sit down and work on a few months of my planner. It's also a great way to use some of your smaller stamps even if they aren't specific for planners. I like to use coloured ink to coordinate colours for the months, instead of colouring these tiny images.
As part of my planner page, I also created a planner dashboard page for a few chores my kids have. This will help me keep track of what has been done and note what "tech" time they will be allotted for the week. I think I will laminate the sheet so I can use it over again. This dashboard will hold details of chores for two kids, one on each side!
