Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps December Preview: Day One - Love Chemistry!

Hello Krafty friends and welcome to our first day of previews for the December release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This month we looking ahead to that lovely time of year all about notes of love/friendship, chocolate and overpriced flowers. That's right everything, let's start thinking about Valentine's day!

Our first preview set is called LOVE CHEMISTRY and it's by the multi-talented krafty girl and artist Becky Pearce.  

This amazing set is so fun and with the simple images you can easily create a number of simple cards or valentines. This paper from Taylored Expression (Formula for Love) was a perfect set to coordinate with the Chemistry bottles and sentiment on this set.

For the chemistry beakers, I stamped and coloured the image. I applied liquid glue to the coloured portion of the beaker and applied glitter. Once the glitter was dry, I applied Glossy Accents to the entire image.

Here is a look at the inside of the card. I love the valentine atom in this set.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October Preview: Day Five - Ice, Ice Baby (Plus a Challenge)

Hello Krafty friends! Welcome back to the final day of the October release previews at at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Today we are showing off a super fun set from Emilie Goulet called ICE, ICE, BABY!

Since it's Saturday and a release preview day, we are also excited to present a new ANYTHING GOES challenge. Create a new project (card, scrapbook page or altered item) and share it with us on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog or on our Krafty Friends Facebook page. All stamps are welcome, however if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp you will double your chance for the weekly prize of a $20 gift certificate to use in the shop. The winner will be drawn at the end of the month from all of this month's Saturday challenge submissions.

I coloured up the sweet little mouse and created another clean and simple card. I used a beautiful winter collection of paper from Authentique called Bundle. I really love this paper with all the kraft, blue and white. It's been in my stash for awhile so I was happy to find the right card to use it on.

I had so much fun colouring up this little cute mouse. It's the only time, I EVER want to see one of these in my house.

For the inside of the card I used more of the Authentique pattern patter and stamped out the cute bunny image in Memento Dessert Sand ink.

This week I had fun creating a birthday card using Oh SNAP! The beautiful paper is from the Simple Stories Summer Vibes 6x6 pad, which is currently in the shop.

On the inside of the card I added one of the birthday sentiments from MAKE A WISH.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps July New Release Hop

Welcome to the KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS July release blog hop. Let's get comfy, grab your favourite drink and enjoy the hop.

Today on the hop you will see amazing Krafty Creations featuring all of the stamps from this month's release. We started off the previews with the fabulous new sentiment set by Krafty Girl and Artist Becky Pearce called SWEET SUMMER SENTIMENTS.

Then we shared two fabulous and sassy sets from the super talented Annie Rodrigue, the first and my favourite this month was COFFEE & FRIENDS. We are also release the image BECKY BUBBLES, which was part of the recent Krafty Card Kit.

Our next is from the fabulous Emilie Goulet. The PRETTY AS A PRINCESS set is perfect for many girls (young and old) in your life.

Finally we had our amazing baby set from the amazing Cheryl Grant. I am sure you will agree that the sweet WELCOME TO THE WORLD set it a must have for all those baby card needs.

I created another card using the PRETTY AS A PRINCESS set. This fun and spunky slingshot princess is perfect for those sweet "princesses" not afraid of getting a little rough or messy when they play.

The paper is from Echo Park Fine & Dandy.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Inside and Out

Today I am hosting our Saturday challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This week it's all about decorating your cards on the inside and out.

We have a new fabulous sketch for this month. You can use it in any of the challenges for April and it will give you a extra chance to win a gift card for the store.

One comment that I often get with my cards, is that people love that I decorate the inside of my cards. I love the added creative surprise when people open their card. It's also a great way to use up some scraps and show off more of your stamps.

For my card today I used the fun WORLD OF WONDER stamps from artist Emilie Goulet. The paper is an older pad I had in my stash from MME (Notable).

Here is a look at the inside of my card. To coordinate with the outside, I like to use the same pattern paper and cardstock from the front of the card. When the stamp set allows, I also like to add an additional image, stamping it as a watermark in a coordinating colour. It's a fun way to tie the card together.

Most times I will make a commitment on the occasions for my card and finish everything off nicely with a sentiment. This card will likely end up as a birthday card, however I decided for now to keep my options open.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps December Peek - Rock Star!

We are just rocking along with the new December release previews for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Today we are back with day TWO peeks and this one is is for the new MOONLIGHT WHISPERS sets from Annie Rodrigue.

I am sure you will sing the praises of these ROCKIN' chicks. There are TWO new sassy rocker girls and we are excited to preview today the fabulous ROCK STAR and ROCKER CHICK!

My card today is featuring the sultry singing ROCK STAR!

For my card today I used paper from Bo Bunny Mama Razzi collection along with kraft tickets from Maya Road, film negative (Tim Holtz) and flowers (Michaels Recollections). I really love the distressed look for this card.

Inside my card I changed up my usual design. I still added the image and one of the sets sentiments. Decorating the inside is a great way for an added surprise and tie in the theme by reusing the image and scraps of pattern paper. However, it does make the card a lot heavier. This card is likely go to someone I can hand deliver due to the embellishment and added layers.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps November Release Previews: Winter Fairies

Hello again Krafty friends, today is day TWO of our November release previews at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  The Krafty Girls and I are FAIRY sure that you are going to love the new Moonlight Whispers images from talented artist Annie Rodrigue. This month we are excited to add TWO new fairy images........ the spectacular SNOWBALL fairy and the incredible ICY fairy.

My card today is featuring the SNOWBALL fairy.

Have you had any snow yet? I think the Winter fairies in my area, have been having a bit of fun and I can tell you I wasn't ready. Had to race out and get boots for my oldest daughter, oh and mitts because since last winter my kids seemed to have lost 1 mitts from each pair they have.

I love the new fairy images and had a lot of fun creating with this sassy SNOWBALL Fairy. I used the Pebbles Home for Christmas collection and just love the red and aqua colours for Christmas/winter cards. I finally managed to add cheese cloth to a Christmas card (not just a Halloween embellishment) and coordinated a few flowers, a key and fun zipper.
