Little Red Wagon # 242 - Wedding

It's time for another wonderful challenge over at Little Red Wagon.

This week Joanne is hosting our challenge and she would like to see projects with a WEDDING theme.

Although I don't have any weddings yet for this year, it is nice to have these cards ready in my stash. For my card I went with a simple design and chose a colour scheme that will work for most weddings.

Black and white with a pop of red.

The background is embossed with the Cricut D'vine Swirls embossing folder. The "Love" was cut with a great die from Your Next Stamp called the Journal Card Bracket Insert Die. The set also comes with the words smile, family and today.

Using a die from My Favorite Things, I cut out the heart in my white card stock. I also cut a heart from red card stock to layer behind the white. The red heart I ran through my Xyron and then applied Glitter Ritz microfine glitter to the sticky side.

When it was time to finish off the card, I quickly realized that I did not own any sentiment stamps related to weddings. Of course I could have used a simple congratulations, however I did find a sentiment in a stamp set from Your Next Stamp's called Dance Fhiona that worked rather well .

I hope that you will join this weeks WEDDING challenge over at Little Red Wagon. While you are there check the other Girlfriends projects to see more fabulous wedding inspiration. You will not be disappointed.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and happy crafting everyone!

Tracy
