Your Next Stamp May DT Dare (Good Vibes)

It's time for the May Your Next Stamp Design Team Dare challenge.

Each month the design team is given a special challenge to help show off the new release stamps and dies. The challenge may be seasonal or technique bases, but whatever it may be, you will see a lot of fun projects.

This month our Designer challenge is all about  GUMDROPS! Not the yummy edible treat, the fabulous YNS enable dot gumdrops!

One of my favourite stamps for this month's release it the GOOD VIBES. I am pretty sure this image is going to make an appearance a few more times this year. The toucan is so fun and you can really play around with a lot of different colours, if you want to get creative.

I had the chance to use the new Heart and Dot Gumdrops to achieve success on our DT Dare challenge. I love the fun colours and shapes on the new gumdrops.

This week I used the darling Scratch Pad and played along with the sketch. Of course my card would not be complete without using my newest favourite paper. That would be the YNS Hugs and Kisses paper. Seriously this pad of paper has everything I love!

Your Next Stamp March Release

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp March release hop. This release is filled with fun and fabulous stamps, dies, beautiful new paper and pretty ink colours! There is a little something for everyone in this month's release.

We have an amazing blog hop to showcase so many wonderful stamps, and dies! This month we have a number of talented guest joining us for our March release hop. Sit back, grab a beverage (some Chocolate Chai tea would be yummy) and maybe a pen and paper to joint down an item or two or three for your wish list.

For my first card, I used the fun Let's Do Take out stamp and die.

To make the card interactive, I used the Flip Up Window die set to add one of the great sentiments from this set. I think there will be a lot of fun things I will be able to do with this new die!

For my second card, I channelled some spring vibes. I used the darling A Cute Stack stamp along, with the Happy Spring paper and Enchanted Garden Gumdrops.

Your Next Stamp March Release Preview (Froggie Friend)

Happy March Crafty Friends!

Despite what looked like an early spring, has quickly turned back into winter. I am not happy and right now I refuse to put my boots back on. Yep, a little tantrum from me right now.

Today I hope we will brighten things up with a preview for the Your Next Stamp  March release.

With the new release just around the corner (later tonight), I have the pleasure of sharing a little preview of one of the stamp and die sets you will see in this amazing release. I love preview day. This week I used the sketch for my inspiration. This was a great sketch, so I didn't need to make any changes. I inked up one of my new favourite stamps, the fun Silly Book Monsters and decorated a notebook.

I also used the fun Letterboard die to create my book title.

Your Next Stamp Sketch/Colour Challenge # 18

Welcome to our sketch and colour challenge #18 at Your Next Stamp. Each challenge includes a sketch and colour options to inspire you.

Create a project based on the sketch and/or the colour combination. If you are working with the colours use at least 3 of the colours and you can add only neutrals.

This week I used the sketch and colours for my card. I inked up the cute HAPPY DANCE stamp and used the HEART BANNER die and the STITCHED RECTANGLE die.

Inside the card I used a sentiment from the WHATNOT SENTIMENTS TWO.

Your Next Stamp July DT Dare

This month at YOUR NEXT STAMP, our Design Team (DT) Dare challenge was to create a project with floral inspiration. That is a challenge that I will happily accept. 

This month I had fun with my distress ink and heat embossing. I used a few bright colours of distress ink and applied these to my white cardstock. Once my background was to my liking I stamp the FLOWER INK SPLATTER image with Versa Fine (onyx black ink), applied clear embossing powder and heat set.

I framed my distress flower design using the STITCHED SQUARE die set and accented this with black GUMDROPS.

Distress ink colours used (Shaded Lilac, Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry). The sentiment on the front of the card is from the SOARING BY stamp set. Inside the card I added a sentiment from HEARTFELT SENTIMENTS!

Your Next Stamp July Sneak Peek

Today I am excited to share a peek of one of the new stamps from the YOUR NEXT STAMP July release. The Design Team is offering some fabulous PEEKS today, so sit back and enjoy! For the full list of preview projects this months, head over to the Your Next Stamps blog.

For my peek project, I used a super cute frog from a set called STICKY NOTE! Now with a name like that I knew I had to make another note holder. It has been a few months (I think), since I've made one. I used the coordinating die to cut out my frog image and adhered him to a background made with the STITCHED RECTANGLE DIES. I am a huge fan of all the stitched dies. They just add a little something extra to your card without actually sewing. WIN!

The fun summer paper is a new Pebbles collection called Fun in the Sun.

Here is a look at the inside of the note holder. I only created one pocket on this holder for the paper. The other side is open for a personal message for the receiver.

I stamped onto the paper the other adorable frog from this set. And yes, I did stamp every page!

The pad of paper comes out so the pad can be refilled.

Your Next Stamp Sketch/Colour Challenge # 16

Welcome to our sketch and colour challenge #16 at Your Next Stamp. Each challenge includes a sketch and colour options to inspire you.

Create a project based on the sketch and/or the colour combination. If you are working with the colours use at least 3 of the colours and you can add only neutrals.

For this challenge I had a little fun with the sketch. I love the getting creative and putting my own spin on sketches. For the spin on this sketch I turned the sketch on it's side and used three grouped items (letters, apple and gumdrops) instead of circles. I used the following dies:

• Fancy Thanks
• Apple Die
• Stitched Rectangles
• Letter Board

The Doodlebug paper and olive green Gumdrops were perfect for this teacher thank you card.

Inside the card I used the Heartfelt sentiments and the 'teacher' stamp is from the A'dork'able set.
