Little Red Wagon (All Tied Up)/The Paper Nest Dolls (Guest)

Hello crafty friends. I hope you are all have a wonderful week so far. Today it's time for new challenge at Little Red Wagon.

I am also super excited to be a Guest Designer at The Paper Nest Dolls again this month.

This week I am the challenge hostess at Little Red Wagon and I am getting things ALL TIED UP! That's right everyone! Grab your ribbon, thread, twine or cord and twist it, knot it or tied up all up in a nice little bow!

This month, I have been getting crafty with altered items. No, I did not make another notebook holder. Although there are more to come soon. This week I decorated a plain kraft paper bag using the sweet EGG COLORING AVERY from THE PAPER NEST DOLLS. She is so cute and makes a perfect addition to this fun Easter bag.

I kept my layers fairly simple (at least in my mind) and added a the Lovely View Die (Little Darlings), flowers (Recollections), pearls and a little pink paint brush for my embellishments. The paint brush was a last minute add to the bag. I am not sure where it came from, but discovered it in the disaster that is currently called my craft desk!

Oh and I can't forget my ribbon and bow. I always do my ribbon/bows in two stages. There is the part that I run across the paper which, on it's own lays nice and flat. Then I tie and add my bow separately with glue dots. I have a technique of tying the bow (single, double or triple) around my fingers and it works better for me,  than trying to tie everything in one piece.

Here is a closer look at the darling Avery.

If you are not too tied up with things I hope that you will join our challenge this week at Little Red Wagon. Link up your projects over on the blog and don't forget to check out what the fabulous Girlfriends have created for you this week.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Wednesday.
