Your Next Stamp Sketch/Colour Challenge # 16

Welcome to our sketch and colour challenge #16 at Your Next Stamp. Each challenge includes a sketch and colour options to inspire you.

Create a project based on the sketch and/or the colour combination. If you are working with the colours use at least 3 of the colours and you can add only neutrals.

For this challenge I had a little fun with the sketch. I love the getting creative and putting my own spin on sketches. For the spin on this sketch I turned the sketch on it's side and used three grouped items (letters, apple and gumdrops) instead of circles. I used the following dies:

• Fancy Thanks
• Apple Die
• Stitched Rectangles
• Letter Board

The Doodlebug paper and olive green Gumdrops were perfect for this teacher thank you card.

Inside the card I used the Heartfelt sentiments and the 'teacher' stamp is from the A'dork'able set.

Your Next Stamp May Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Your Next Stamp May new release blog hop.

Today we have an amazing blog hop showcase so many fabulous stamps and die. Sit back, grab your favourite beverage and enjoy this month's inspiration. 

For my first project I used SWEET SPRING JESSICA, the STITCHED RECTANGLES die and a few yummy GUMDROPS (olive green).

The paper on the card is from Simple Stories Summer Fresh.

Inside the card I inked Jessica in a lovely green and added a beautiful sentiment from this set.

I am planning ahead for the end of the school year and my next card will be perfect for the kids teacher. I created the card using the FOR THE TEACHER stamp along with the STITCHING MARKS CIRCLES and the CIRCLE DIE. This adorable stamp sent allows you to add a variety of sentiments in the little banner.

I embellished with a few white GUMDROPS and decorated the card with the bright Doodlebug Take Note paper.

Inside the card I used the SMARTY PANTS set for added school themed decoration.

Back to School with Little Red Wagon & Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

It's Wednesday and time for two fabulous and fun challenges at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and Little Red Wagon.

 

This week at Little Red Wagon, Joanne is hosting and the theme for this week's challenge is BACK TO SCHOOL. To play along create a new school related projects and link it up over at the LITTLE RED WAGON blog.

Over KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS our Wonderful Wednesday challenge theme is always ANYTHING GOES. That's right any theme, style or design and since we would love to see you play along with these challenges you can use any stamp. Just create a NEW project (card, layout, altered item) and join in the fun over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge blog. This is the first Wonderful Wednesday for September and you can play along each week if you'd like. At the end of the month, one random winner will be chosen from the submissions and receive a $20 gift card to the shop! 

For my kids, yesterday was the first day back to school. They were very excited to be back and both girls were very please that they got the teachers they wanted this year. For my back to school project I created this cute note holder featuring the ever chic geek Lulu from the Smarty Pants set.

The holder was created to fit sticky notes measuring 3x3. I used the fun Doodlebug "Take Note" collections and elements from Simple Stories Smarty Pants collections.

Since this may end up on the teachers desk, I also decorated the back of the note holder.
