Your Next Stamp May Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Your Next Stamp May new release blog hop.

Today we have an amazing blog hop showcase so many fabulous stamps and die. Sit back, grab your favourite beverage and enjoy this month's inspiration.

For my first project I used SWEET SPRING JESSICA, the STITCHED RECTANGLES die and a few yummy GUMDROPS (olive green).

The paper on the card is from Simple Stories Summer Fresh.

Inside the card I inked Jessica in a lovely green and added a beautiful sentiment from this set.

Here is a look at the stamp and dies used.

I am planning ahead for the end of the school year and my next card will be perfect for the kids teacher. I created the card using the FOR THE TEACHER stamp along with the STITCHING MARKS CIRCLES and the CIRCLE DIE. This adorable stamp sent allows you to add a variety of sentiments in the little banner.

I embellished with a few white GUMDROPS and decorated the card with the bright Doodlebug Take Note paper.

Inside the card I used the SMARTY PANTS set for added school themed decoration.

Here is a look at the stamps and dies uses for this card.

In celebration of this month's release, Karen has a fabulous deal for you!

Thanks for hopping along with us today. Remember to leave a comment on each of the blogs as you go. There is a fabulous prize available to one lucky stamper. All of the blogs are listed below. The hop continues until May 12th at midnight. Come back and join us on May 13th to see winners from the blog hop comments and check out the latest DESIGN TEAM DARE!

Your Next Stamp Sketch/Colour Challenge #11

Welcome sketch and colour challenge #11 at Your Next Stamp. Twice each month there will be a new sketch or colour inspiration for you to play along with.

I love this sketch and took a break from coloured images to play along with a few dies. Well that would be 5 YNS dies to be exact. The dies include:

The "Thank You" sentiment is from the A'dork'able stamp set.

Inside, I used the Smarty Pants stamp set.

For our sketch and colour challenge # 11 you have until April 16th (midnight) to play along. You can see more inspiration and link up your projects over at Your Next Stamp.

One random participant will WIN a $15 gift card to the YNS store. However, if you feature a YNS stamp or die (must be the main focal point) you will receive and additional $5. Oh yeah! When you use a YNS image there is also a chance of being selected as a YNS Top Pick. That's right, bragging rights for you and a fabulous badge to show off on your blog! Sounds exciting right? Ink up your stamps and show us your crafty stuff!

Have a fabulous and crafty Friday friends!

Spectacular

I am so excited to finally used this stamp. I bought it back in April at Scrapfest from Your Next Stamp. I really love their stamps. They are so cute and a lot of fun to colour. This stamp "Spectacular" I had to get because I think it looks a lot like my oldest daughter. Of course, I am now on the look out for a stamp that reminds me of my youngest daughter.

This card is my submission for the Your Next Stamp October Sketch challenge (YNSFFC05)

The image is YNS "Spectacular", coloured with Copic markers. I used Glossy Accents on the classes for a bit of dimension. I also used YNS Smarty Pants stamp for the lined paper and A+.

Inside the card I used the YNS "Smarty Pants" ruler and sentiment. I find I cannot call a card finished unless I decorate the inside.

I haven't yet decided on the occasion that I will use this card. When the time comes I can add an additional sentiment inside the card (if needed) to create a thank you or even a birthday card.

Supplies:
Your Next Stamp: Spectacular, Smarty Pants
Cuttlebug Spots and Dots embossing folder
Spellbinders Standard Circles Dies
Copic markers

Thanks for stopping by.
