This week at Little Red Wagon, I am hosting and this will be my last challenge as one of the LRW Girlfriends. I am very sad to be leaving, but life has gotten a little too busy. I have enjoyed my last year and a half with the Girlfriends and I look forward to playing along with a few challenge when I have a chance.

As hostess this week my challenge is called CUTE AS A BUTTON. Simply put, show me cute and make sure there is a button or two (or more) on your project.

This week's card I pull a bit inspiration from the June Kraftin' Kimmie Sketch with a few minor modifications with my own lil' touch.

Here is my card featuring this darling lil' cutie from the BIRTHDAY BUDDIES stamps set.

The paper is from Echo Park Birthday Wishes (Birthday Girl).

Here is a look at the completed inside of the card. I added a second stamp from this set and finished off with a sentiment from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps MAKE A WISH set.

I hope that you find time to join our CUTE AS A BUTTON challenge over at Little Red Wagon. While you are there stop over to the other Girlfriends blogs to see all of the inspiration they are sharing. Check out our Little Red Wagon Facebook group (here).

Little Red Wagon - #291 Red, White and Blue

Welcome to this week's Little Red Challenge hosted by Collette. This week she is celebrating Memorial Day and would like to see your project showing off Red, White and Blue!

I was lucky enough to have purchased the fun Doodlebug Paper pad Patriotic Picnic which I used on my card. I dug into my stamps and inked up one of my Tiddly Inks clear stamps called Sweets for My Sweet.

Thanks for stopping by today. I really hope that you have time to play along with our RED, WHITE and BLUE colour challenge. Link up your projects over at the Little Red Wagon blog. If you are looking for some inspiration, please check our my fab GIRLFRIENDS creations this week.

Hey crafty friends, Little Red Wagon is having a DT Call. You can check out the post here for more details. You have until June 15th to apply. Sadly I am one of the Girlfriends leaving this fun and amazing team. Life and family commitments have been slowly changing and I need to lessen some of my crafty commitments. I will miss my Girlfriends, however I do hope to play along as often as possible.

Have a fabulous and crafty day friends!

Your Next Stamp (DT Dare)/Little Red Wagon (Make an Impression)

Today I am sharing a card for the May DT Dare challenge at Your Next Stamp and our weekly challenge at Little Red Wagon.

This month at YOUR NEXT STAMP, our Design Team (DT) Dare challenge was to create a project that included stitching and Gumdrops (enamel dots). After a brief moment of panic, I realized that sewing is not always required to achieve stitching. An amazing die set that gives the look of stitching lines, will also work and save you A LOT of time!

For this week's LITTLE RED WAGON challenge, Carolyn is the boss, and she would like us to MAKE AN IMPRESSION. By that, she is looking for some dry embossing on your project. Dry embossing is not something I do often, so this was fun to work it into my card.

I created a fun shaker card using some confetti I've had in my stash for a few years. I used the YNS Stitched Rectangle die to create my shaker box frame, layering it with coloured cardstock for a pop of colour. In addition to my embossed stitching lines, I added some embossing inside my shaker box.

To decorate the shaker box I used the cute A+ Owl Banner stamp and added glittered Grape Punch Gumdrops.

The A+ Owl Banner stamp comes with 10 different sentiments for the banner. There is also a matching die.

Inside the card I used the Heartfelt Sentiments stamp.

Head over to the Your Next Stamp blog and check out the DT DARE post for this month. Comment on the post for a chance to WIN a prize. You will also see more amazing creations from my fellow YNS DT girls.

I hope that I've made a good IMPRESSION and you'll be playing along with our challenge this week at Little Red Wagon. For more inspiration you must check out the projects by my fellow Girlfriends.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a fabulous and crafty day everyone!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps/Little Red Wagon (Travelogue)

Welcome friends. Today I have a dual post for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and Little Red Wagon.

We love when you use a KKS (and it doubles you chance for winning), however all stamps are welcome for these challenges. This week at Little Red Wagon,

Heather is our fab hostess and her challenge this week is called TRAVELOGUE. Now this one stumped me for a bit. Heather is looking for us to create a project inspired by another country. It seems like such a long time since I have travelled or had a vacation, so my travel mojo was lacking just a bit.

I have had this beautiful paper from MME (On the Bright Side) in my stash for a while. It has such a elegant and exotic feel that I knew I wanted to use it for this challenge. Of course when I got my hands on the amazing NATSUKO stamp, I knew I discovered my inspiration for this challenge.

Inside the card, I used the HELLO FRIEND sentiment stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

I hope that you find time to join our TRAVELOGUE challenge over at Little Red Wagon. While you are there stop over to the other Girlfriends blogs to see all of the inspiration they are sharing. Check out our Little Red Wagon Facebook group (here).

Little Red Wagon #279 Birds of a Feather

Welcome to this week's newest, Little Red Wagon Challenge!

Joanne is hosting today and her challenge is called BIRDS OF A FEATHER. Grab your bird stamps or feathers from your stash and play along with us this week!

I used the cute  JUNGLE CRITTERS set from YOUR NEXT STAMP for my bird-day card. The fun Toucan colours were perfect for the MME Lime Twist paper I had sitting in my stash. The "bird-day" sentiment on the front is from the Bird Critter Crew set.

I used the Stitching Marks Die and Circle die set from Your Next Stamp. The sweet toucan is coloured with Copic markers.

Here is the inside of the card.

Join us for this weeks BIRDS OF A FEATHER challenge. Fly over to the Little Red Wagon blog to link up your creation. While you are there, stop by and see what the other GIRLFRIENDS have to inspire you this week.

Thanks for stopping in today and have a wonderful and crafty day!

Little Red Wagon # 259 Spooky Spooky

Hello and happy Wednesday. It's time to play along with this week's fabulous and fun challenge at Little Red Wagon. The week our newest Girlfriend Heather, is hosting her first challenge. She is gearing up for Halloween and would like to see some SPOOKY Halloween projects.

For my card I used a digital image from Sassy Cheryl's Stamps. I've had this image for a while and I am excited to finally add the cute "Wicked Witch of the West" to a card.

I am not so sure about the "wicked", I think this image is way too cute. I used fun paper from Doodlebug Designs called Ghouls and Goodies. The bright colours are a lot of fun and were just perfect for this fun Halloween card.

I am proud of myself for keeping my card design simple. It's easy to get carried away with layers when you are using great papers and images.

The inside is decorated with a few of the Doodlebug Designs Halloween Sprinkles Shapes and stamped images from Your Next Stamp Halloween Cuties and Ghostly Greeting.

I hope you will play along with this SPOOK-TACULAR challenge at Little Red Wagon. If you are looking for some SWEET inspiration, remember to check out the blogs for the other Girlfriends. There will be some fabulous creations to feast your eyes on this week.

Thanks for dropping in and please come back soon.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday.

Tracy
