Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Preview: Day Three - Wild & Crazy Guys!

It's time for day THREE of our May preview for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Today we have a fantastic set from the amazing artist Emilie Goulet. This handy set is called WILD & CRAZY GUYS and it features the three images that will most certainly fit a number of those important men in your life.

Having two little girls and lots of nieces, I don't get the chance to make a lot of masculine cards. I was so excited to ink up the the "Handy Man" from the WILD & CRAZY GUYS set. The paper, MME Remarkable, is one of my few dwindling manly paper pad. I kept my embellishments simple with a few brads and twine. My sentiment is added to a piece of adhesive backed wood paper, using Stazon Ink . I got the 6x6 sheet of wood paper in a card kit a few years back and I have been using it in small pieces. I really need to find more.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Preview: Day Two - Sincere Sympathy

Welcome back to day TWO of our May preview at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS. Today we are previewing a new sentiment set from Artist, Becky Pearce called SINCERE SYMPATHY.

Although sympathy cards are not ones we want to make, they are ones that we often need. I kept my sympathy card simple, heat embossing the image with brown embossing powder. The paper is Basic Grey Clippings. I added a double layer of cardstock to mat my sentiment and pattern paper. I kept my embellishments simple with a few dark red enamel dots.

My sentiment was cut out using a stitched rectangle die.

Inside the card I added a second sentiment from this set.

Your Next Stamp (DT Dare)/Little Red Wagon (Make an Impression)

Today I am sharing a card for the May DT Dare challenge at Your Next Stamp and our weekly challenge at Little Red Wagon.

This month at YOUR NEXT STAMP, our Design Team (DT) Dare challenge was to create a project that included stitching and Gumdrops (enamel dots). After a brief moment of panic, I realized that sewing is not always required to achieve stitching. An amazing die set that gives the look of stitching lines, will also work and save you A LOT of time!

For this week's LITTLE RED WAGON challenge, Carolyn is the boss, and she would like us to MAKE AN IMPRESSION. By that, she is looking for some dry embossing on your project. Dry embossing is not something I do often, so this was fun to work it into my card.

I created a fun shaker card using some confetti I've had in my stash for a few years. I used the YNS Stitched Rectangle die to create my shaker box frame, layering it with coloured cardstock for a pop of colour. In addition to my embossed stitching lines, I added some embossing inside my shaker box.

To decorate the shaker box I used the cute A+ Owl Banner stamp and added glittered Grape Punch Gumdrops.

The A+ Owl Banner stamp comes with 10 different sentiments for the banner. There is also a matching die.

Inside the card I used the Heartfelt Sentiments stamp.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Preview: Day One - Chase Your Dreams!

Hello Krafty Friends. Did you know that it's preview week at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps? This is DAY ONE of the MAY release and we are starting things off with a fun Moonlight Whispers set from artist Annie Rodrigue. Today we are excited to share "CHASE YOUR DREAMS".

Here is a look at my card. The paper I used is from Doodlebug called Patriotic Picnic.

To create dimension on the card, I first trimmed my image so part of the image extends past by matting. I also punched out a number of small butterflies from my scraps of paper. I adhered 3 layers of the pattern butterflies using a glue dot in the centre and a small bit of foam adhesive under the wings.

Inside the card I used a sheet of the star vellum paper for my background and added a sentiment from the KKS Words of Inspiration set.

Your Next Stamp May Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Your Next Stamp May new release blog hop.

Today we have an amazing blog hop showcase so many fabulous stamps and die. Sit back, grab your favourite beverage and enjoy this month's inspiration. 

For my first project I used SWEET SPRING JESSICA, the STITCHED RECTANGLES die and a few yummy GUMDROPS (olive green).

The paper on the card is from Simple Stories Summer Fresh.

Inside the card I inked Jessica in a lovely green and added a beautiful sentiment from this set.

I am planning ahead for the end of the school year and my next card will be perfect for the kids teacher. I created the card using the FOR THE TEACHER stamp along with the STITCHING MARKS CIRCLES and the CIRCLE DIE. This adorable stamp sent allows you to add a variety of sentiments in the little banner.

I embellished with a few white GUMDROPS and decorated the card with the bright Doodlebug Take Note paper.

Inside the card I used the SMARTY PANTS set for added school themed decoration.

Your Next Stamp Sketch/Colour Challenge # 13

Welcome to our sketch and colour challenge #13 at Your Next Stamp. Twice each month there will be new inspiration for you to play along with.

This week I was inspired by the fun sketch. I flip the sketch on it's side, but otherwise stuck to the design. I used the sweet A'dork'able stamp and embellished with a few red glittered Gumdrops.
