Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - February Release Hop

Welcome back to the February new release hop for KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS.

Today the Krafty Girls and our talented guests are back to share some inspiration with all of the fabulous stamps we have been previewing over the last week. This month's release is truly magical, so I hope you enjoy today's hop.

This week we started off with a pair of book inspired stamps. If you love Lord of the Rings, these Moonlight Whisper images of GANDALF AND GALADRIEL will be a must have for your collection.

Next we continued with our book theme with a set of darling classic characters. The BOOK PALS stamp set showcases the adorable Pippi Longstocking, Laura Ingalls and Huck Finn.

Our third preview, was for the latest sentiment set from Krafty Girl Becky Piece. The HELLO FRIEND sentiment set is a great stand alone image, or perfect to complement your favourite stamps.

Our final preview was for SQUISHY FRIENDS. These sweet friendship images will complement any project for that special friend in your life.

For today's hop I decided to again step away from the card. I used the darling PIPPI LONGSTOCKING from BOOK PALS and created a notebook holder.

The base of the note holder is 1 sheet of 110lb white card stock. The base was scored at 5.25" and 5.5".

Pippi is just darling and I tried to capture her eclectic clothing and signature red hair with my Copics.

Inside the notebook holder I added a pocket with a couple of tags for notes. The notepad is from the $ store and is approximate 8x5".

I created a pocket for the notepad to fit in, so a new one can be added.

Tip:

The heart key charm on the front was silver, but the key I wanted to use was brass. The solution. I grabbed my Tim Holtz Distress Paint (Tarnished Brass) and painted the charm. The paint was a bit too bright compared to the key, so I used the walnut stain distress ink to "dirty" it up. Worked pretty well.

I hope that you didn't mind so many pictures. I have been having a lot of fun this release making other krafty paper projects with all the amazing release stamps.

Each of the Krafty Girls and our Guests are showing off the images from this release in today's hop. Leave a comment below and along a each of the blogs listed below. Kimmie will be giving away a prize of Krafty $ for the store.

Last night was the online release party, so if you haven't already had the chance, you may just want to check out the new stamps that are now available in the store.

Thanks for stopping hopping along with us today and have a super and KRAFTY day!
