Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Preview - Words of Inspiration

I am so excited that we are still previewing for the January release over at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS. That's right, we have so much KRAFTY goodness this month. I hope you are lovin' it just as much as I am!

Do you love big beautiful sentiments? I do. Today we are showing off a new and FABULOUS sentiment set, from the talented and creative BECKY PEARCE. This amazing set is called WORDS OF INSPIRATION.

Not only is it a preview day, it is also time for this week's NEW challenge. Krafty Girl Jenny is hosting and I am sure it is no surprise that our challenge theme is, ANYTHING GOES. That's right, create a new card, layout or altered project and play along with our challenge for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate for the store. Any stamps are welcome, however we love when you show off your KKS. Using a KKS will double your chances with winning.

I love sentiments and it has been a lot of fun to challenge myself to create a card just using the sentiment. There are a classic look to these cards and they are perfect for a lot of occasions. This sentiments is my favourite from this set and of course I embellished with a key. I am lovin' the metal lately and have been using it on a lot of my cards. Keys, hearts, gears, tags....love me a little heavy metal.

I used paper from We R Memory Keepers Love Notes (which Kimmie has in the shop). I love the pink splatters on the paper in this collection and I recreated that look on my sentiment using Worn Lipstick Distress ink (watered down). I used a paint bush and flicked some spots and dabbed the brush to the paper in other areas for the larger dots. I also distressed the key (Michaels) using pink Distress Paint.

Here is the inside of the card with another of the sentiments from this set. Most of my favourite sentiment stamps sit on my craft desk because they will be used at least on the inside of my card.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to leave a little comment and then check out all of the Krafty Girls sharing inspiration for today's preview. Kimmie will have a lovely prize for a random Krafty Friend that leaves a comment. I am sure you would love to win some Krafty $ to do a little shopping!

Release Party
Tonight Saturday January 17 at 6 PM (EST) is the online party. Join us over at the Facebook event page (here). The winners of the preview hop will be announced at the party. You could win more prizes at the party and you can hang out with Kimmie and the Krafty Girls. After the party, you can SHOP, SHOP and SHOP!

I hope you have a wonderful day.

Tracy
